Their bright golden-orange pulp, rich aroma, and naturally sweet taste make them one of the most loved mango varieties in India and across the globe.
According to history, the Nawab of Junagadh introduced this variety in 1931, and upon seeing its saffron-colored flesh, named it Kesar – meaning saffron in Hindi. Today, these mangoes enjoy GI (Geographical Indication) status and are prized for their purity, flavor, and origin.
